Beauty ~ Function ~ Fun!
All of our handmade bottle serving trays go through a long, 15 hour process & temperatures nearing 1500 degrees F, reaching the point where the glass becomes red hot and collapses on itself.
It is then slowly cooled and annealed so the glass is not fragile, making it ready for everyday use.
All bottles that have a "factory applied" painted label are washable/immersable ~ we recommend hand washing.
The paints used are ceramic based and durable for normal usage.
The Etched bottle serving trays have a sand carved image cut into the surface of the bottle. It will not wear off. We have a great variety of images and we will be glad to work with you on your own idea as well. **Custom pricing applies.
The bottles that have a paper label go through a slightly different process. The label was carefully removed, using a variety of techniques so as to preserve the original label intact. The label was re-applied to the back of the flattened bottle. These are NOT to be immersed in water so be mindful of what you serve on them.
Our process results in making the neck of the bottle into a handle for ease of serving as well as for storing the spreader.
